Stevens 7th in Toilet Bowl finale
Tyler Stevens traveled to Tennessee’s Clarksville Speedway on Friday and Saturday to take part in two $10,000-to-win shows at the 20th annual Tuckasee Toilet Bowl Classic. He qualified for both features and brought home a top-10 finish on the second day of action.
On Friday, 28 Super Late Models filled the quarter-mile track's pit area for the event, postponed from the first weekend in March. Stevens qualified fifth in his group and finished third in his heat race to transfer into the 40-lap feature. He started ninth, but fell out of the running early and came home 20th.
The next night, 23 Super Late Model drivers ventured to Clarksville for another shot at $10,000. After setting the third-quickest time in his group qualifying session, Stevens finished as runner-up in his heat. He rolled off sixth in the 40-lap main event and recorded a seventh-place result.
