Podium finish in Crate Racin' USA Winter Shootout finale at Southern Raceway
With Mother Nature washing out the event last weekend, Matt Henderson was one of 25 Crate Racin' USA Winter Series Late Models at Southern Raceway (Milton, Fla.) the following weekend for the rescheduled Battle at the Beach.
Following the second-fastest lap in his qualifying group, Henderson ran runner-up in his heat which positioned himself nicely for Saturday's A-Main.
With a $10,000 payday on the line for the finale, Matt kept his nose clean throughout the lengthy 50-lap feature to finish on the podium in third. He trailed Colton Leyendecker and Corey Neil Jr. while Joseph Joiner and Steve Jernigan completed the Top-5.
