Bruening Bags Pair of Top-5 Finishes at All-Tech
Tyler Bruening continued his 2024 Speedweeks on Friday and Saturday at All-Tech Raceway (Ellisville, Fla.) with a pair of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) events.
On Friday evening 49 racers entered the $12,000-to-win event at the 1/2-mile oval. Tyler qualified 15th-fastest in his group before advancing from fifth to third in his heat race to lock into the 17th-starting spot for the main event.
Bruening enjoyed a great outing in the main event, advancing 13 positions to a fourth-place finish behind Ricky Thornton Jr., Devin Moran, and Hudson O'Neal. He earned the night's Hard Charger accolades for his performance.
Saturday's program found Tyler starting the night on a faster note with the best time in his qualifying group, followed by a runner-up finish in his heat race.
He ran in the Top 5 throughout the $15,000-to-win finale before crossing the finish line in fourth for the second-straight night in the 50-lapper.
