General Tire Super Bowl of Racing Kickstarts 2024 Season at Golden Isles

BATAVIA, Ohio (January 22, 2024) – The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will kick off the 2024 season with the General Tire Super Bowl of Racing at Golden Isles Speedway in Waynesville, Ga. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday January 25-27 with an open practice on Wednesday, January 24.

On Wednesday, January 24, the pit gates will open at 2:00PM followed by open practice from 6:00PM to 9:00PM.

A complete program is on the docket each night for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, with Thursday’s 40-lap A-Main event paying $10,000-to-win, Friday’s 50-lap A-Main paying $12,000-to-win, and Saturday’s 60-lap finale boasting $25,000 to the winner. Additionally, the 602 and 604 Late Models, Mini Late Models, and Enduros will be part of the racing card.

The remainder of the weekend, the pit gates will open at 2:00PM each day, followed by general admission gates at 3:00PM. The on-track excitement is slated for 5:30PM each day with Hot Laps. All times are Eastern Time.

The General Tire Super Bowl of Racing begins the next evolution of the Big River Steel Chase for the Championship – Presented by ARP. The nation’s top dirt late model drivers will battle all season for their share of the over $1,000,000 point fund. The 2024 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series National Champion will take home an industry leading $200,000.
