Terbo sixth in Wild West Shootout finale
Tyler Erb unloaded his Best Performance Motorsports No. 1 Late Model at Vado Speedway Park (Vado, N.M.) on Wednesday for the final four rounds of the Rio Grande Waste Services Wild West Shootout.
After solidifying a starting position into the A-Main via a B-Main, Erb marched forward 11 spots in the 30-lap feature to finish eighth.
Rolling to another eighth-place finish in Friday’s program, Tyler followed up a fourth-to-second run in his heat with a consistent eighth-place showing in the feature.
On Saturday, Erb stormed into the main event with a consolation victory after missing a transfer spot by one car in his heat. With $11,000 on the line, Erb climbed seven positions to finish 10th.
The Wild West Shootout wrapped up for Terbo on Sunday with the Texas native capturing his sixth straight Top-10 finish to kickstart his 2024 campaign. Starting the $25,000-to-win finale in 12th, Erb jumped up six spots to register a sixth-place finish.
Erb finished fourth in the final WWS point standings.
