Jeff Roth steers to podium finish in Hayden Ross Memorial at Thunderbird

Taking part in the memorial event honoring the late Late Model racer Hayden Ross, Jeff Roth visited Thunderbird Speedway (Muskogee, Okla.) on Friday to pilot his First Star Exteriors No. 14R Late Model for the unsanctioned event.

Following the eighth-fastest qualifying effort, Roth jumped up one spot in his heat race to register a second-place finish. Starting the $6,600-to-win Hayden Ross Memorial in fifth, Jeff muscled forward two spots in the 25-lap affair to register a third-place finish. He trailed Hall of Famer Billy Moyer and Logan Martin across the line with Kylan Garner and Jon Kirby rounding out the Top-5.
