King attends Spooky 50 weekend at Super Bee Speedway

The 30th annual Spooky 50 weekend brought Michael King Jr. to Super Bee Speedway (Chatham, La.) on Friday to compete in the USRA Limited Modified portion of the two-day event.

With a pair of heat races on Friday setting the grid for Saturday’s main event, King followed up a third-place round in the first round with an eighth-to-fifth run in the second round.

He was slated to roll off on the pole of his B-Main on Saturday but was forced to scratch after discovering a hole in his oil pan from a rock, ending his weekend.
