Andrew Wylie lands podium finish at Lernerville
Taking part in a doubleheader weekend in Pennsylvania, Andrew Wylie traveled to Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, Pa.) on Friday afternoon for the track’s annual Summer Showcase.
In a field of 21 Super Late Models, Andrew raced his way into the $3,000-to-win A-Main with an impressive sixth-to-second showing in his heat race. Moving forward three more spots in the 25-lap feature, Wylie reeled in a third-place finish, which came behind Michael Norris and Eric Wilson.
Joining the Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series (ULMS) on Saturday, Wylie invaded Latrobe Speedway (Latrobe, Pa.) for the Ron Schmucker Memorial. With a third-place finish in his heat positioning him on the fourth row for the $5,000-to-win finale, Wylie dropped five spots in the 40-lapper to finish 13th.
