Anderson on Top at Sugar Creek

Blue Ridge, GA (7/8/23) —- Tucker Anderson of Blairsville, GA dominated Saturday nights United Championship Racing Alliance - UCRA feature, presented by Red Line Synthetic Oil. “Mr. Anderson” overpowered fast qualifier and polesitter Dillon Perry of Ringgold, GA at the start, from his outside front row pole position. The driver of the #22 “Coltman Farms | Special Needs Schools of Gwinnett | Team SRI Motorsports | Swift Springs | SRI Performance | Collins Signs | RC Performance Racing Transmissions | MD3 | 99inc.Racing | Dirtcarlift | KRC Power Steering | Longhorn Chassis | Bilstein Shock Absorbers | VP Racing Fuels | Boswell Oil Company | FK Rod Ends | MPM Marketing | FastShafts” never looked back, taking the $3000 first place prize. Behind Perry (whom now has two consecutive runner-up finishes in UCRA competition) was Chip Brindle of Chatsworth, GA, whom survived an altercation with a black marker, car early in the event. Fourth place finisher Jacob Anderson unfortunately failed to pass a post race inspection and was subsequently disqualified. Rounding out the top five were Matt Shannon of Delano, TM and Mitchell Stanley of Murphy, NC. Sixth through Eighth were UCRA championship challengers: Kenny Kizzar,Kasey Hall and Jessie Hughes. UCRA, 2023 championship points standings are tight. Points update will be available mid week at ucraracing.com and on the UCRA Facebook page. The next event for the UCRA, 604/Crate Late Model series is in two weeks on Saturday, July 22nd at Crossville (TN) Speedway on the Cumberland plateau.
