(Warrensburg, Missouri) After a whirlwind two nights of action last weekend, Central Missouri Speedway (CMS) will take a weekend off from racing this week as previously announced to give staff and racers a rest before resuming the second half of the season on Saturday, July 15.
When racing resumes on July 15, all four weekly divisions will take to the track along with the second appearance this season for the ever-popular Show-Me Vintage Series.
In addition, CMS is pleased to announce the following schedule modifications for selected future dates. These additions should help fill out a nice field of cars in the added classes for the fans to enjoy and to help drivers who may be in search of national point-earning events.
July 29th, Super Stocks will now be part of the race program, joining the WAR Sprints, B-Mods, Midwest Mods, and Pure Stocks. This will be a track points-earning night in all divisions.
September 2nd, Super Stocks and B-Mods have been added to the schedule on this night to join the Cash Money Late Models, Show-Me Vintage Series, Midwest Mods for their track special, and the Lightning Sprints. No Pure Stocks on this night as previously announced. No track points will be awarded on this night.
September 3rd, adding on the Midwest Mods, who have performed very well this season. They will join the previously announced $2,000-to-win B-Mod race, $1,000-to-win Super Stocks, Lightning Sprints, Show-Me Vintage Series, and Pure Stocks, to help close out the regular season in a big way. No track points will be awarded on this night. !
Lastly, the Midwest Mods will also be added to the September 16th Hog Roast Nationals, to join the previously announced $3,000-to-win Super Stocks, $1,000-to-win B-Mods, and regular Pure Stocks for a full night of action from the four CMS divisions who participated this year. All event times will move forward one hour for this event. A planned post-race party is planned to help close out the season. Additional details to be announced. No track points will be awarded on this night.
