Top Ten And A New Track For Vanderheiden

JACKSON, Minn (June 20, 2023) Back and Jackson and Huset's, plus a trip to I-90 Speedway for the first time saw mixed results for Cole Vanderheiden, but an overall successful weekend for the No. 15v.
Kicking off Friday at the Jackson Motorplex, a Heat Race win was downed by a draw of nine for the feature, where Cole would struggle to find a handle on the car. Nevertheless, he walked away with a tenth-place finish.
His first appearance at I-90 Speedway in South Dakota, Cole battled the point's average format that put him starting at the back of his Heat Race. Moving to fourth, the feature would have seen him take the green from 15th, however, rain ended that before it could begin.
On to Husets on Sunday, where Cole leads the RaceSaver standings, a fifth-place finish in his Heat race meant a B-Feature run. Winning the consolation event, Vanderheiden moved to 13th, with several spots coming in the final few laps. He left the night with a one-point lead, and four nights left on the season.
