Chase Allen Remains Hot With Devil's Bowl Win!
MESQUITE, Texas (June 6, 2023) A little weather diversion over the weekend was a winning one for Chase Allen, who found his way to a pair of top fives, and his fourth win of the year.
Ark-La-Tex Speedway and a 45 car field on Friday, June 2 at the 17th annual Doug Murphrey Memorial presented by RacinDirt with the American Racer USRA Modified Series powered by Day Motor Sports, Allen took the green from the pole of the $5,000 to win affair. Battling for the lead early on, Allen would end up slipping to fifth on Lap 6, where he would remain.
With rain taking the Saturday portion at Ark-La-Tex, Allen loaded up and headed to the Devil's Bowl Speedway for the first time this season.
Nineteen Reese Air Services Modifieds, 15 laps, and a charge from eighth to the lead on Lap 7 put the Dave Leech Construction/Smiley's No. 130 on the path to victory.
The next event on Allen's schedule as of now as Friday, June 9 at Heart O' Texas Speedway in Waco.
