Martin heads to Midwest for World of Outlaws tripleheader
Returning to World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series for a three-race swing, Logan Martin traveled to Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Ill.) on Thursday afternoon for the Farmer City Showdown.
With 27 Late Models checked in, Logan qualified 14th-fastest in overall qualifying before nabbing the final transfer spot in his heat race. Rolling off from the eighth-row in the $10,000-to-win feature, Martin gained three positions to wind up 14th.
Following the series to Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Ill.) on Friday afternoon, Martin qualified sixth-fastest in his group before picking up the fourth and final transfer position in his heat. With $12,000 on the line, Martin crossed the line in 18th.
Wrapping up the triple-header weekend on Saturday at Paducah International Raceway (Paducah, Ky.), Logan earned a feature position in his heat race and wound up 16th in the $15,000 USA World 100.
Logan is currently 15th in the latest World of Outlaws point standings.
