Top-five finish in Jim Dunn Memorial at Marion Center Speedway
Friday night found Gregg Satterlee in action at Marion Center Speedway (Marion Center, Pa.) aboard his Satterlee Motorsports No. 22 Late Model for the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series-sanctioned Connor Bobik Memorial.
With 51 Late Models packed in the pit area, Satterlee edged his way into the $10,000-to-win A-Main with a third-place finish in his heat. Despite a tangle on lap 34 that involved Gregg and multiple other competitors, Satterlee advanced forward 11 spots in the 40-lap affair to finish seventh.
After wet weather washed out Saturday’s World of Outlaws event at Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, Pa.), Gregg traveled to Muskingum County Speedway (Zanesville, Ohio) for the 41st annual Jim Dunn Memorial. With a third-place finish in his heat placing him on the fifth row for the feature, Satterlee passed four cars in the 50-lapper to register a fifth-place finish. He chased Nick Hoffman, Tyler Carpenter, Jacob Hawkins, and Gordy Gundaker to the checkers.
