Spencer Diercks pulls off last-lap victory at Davenport

Spencer Diercks broke out his Roehlk Concrete Contractors No. 29 Modified on Friday afternoon at Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) and ended the night in victory lane with a late rally in the feature.

With an impressive 10th-to-3rd run in his heat race placing him on the second row for the main event, Diercks tracked down pacesetter Jeff Larson on the final lap and stole the victory, securing his first win of the 2023 campaign and a $1,000 payday. He finished 0.215 seconds ahead of Larson with Tim Ward, Matt Werner, and Jarrett Brown completing the top-five finishers.

Saturday's scheduled stop at Maquoketa Speedway (Maquoketa, Iowa) fell victim to freezing weather.
