Top-10 in Comp Cams opening weekend at Boothill
Morgan Bagley entered his P&W Iron Works No. 14 Late Model into action with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) at Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, La.) as the series kicked off the 2023 campaign with the fourth annual Ronny Adams Memorial.
With 41 Late Models in the pit area on Friday, Bagley timed in eighth-quickest before making up one spot in his heat race to finish third. Rolling off from the sixth-row in the $5,000-to-win feature, Morgan gained one position to record an 11th-place finish.
For Saturday's $10,000-to-win show, Morgan missed the transfer spot in his heat race but recovered in his consolation race to make the A-Main field. Starting from the back in the 40-lap main event, Bagley mounted a charge through the field to record a ninth-place finish.
