Ferguson Makes East Bay Debut

A last-minute offer to drive the Kale Green Racing entry led to Carson Ferguson making his debut at East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Fla.) on Friday night.

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) event drew 62 entries to the 1/3-mile oval for the $12,000-to-win event. Struggles in qualifying pinned Carson starting 10th in his heat race, and that's where he'd finish. As a result he was mired deep in the starting grid for a B-Main. Unable to transfer to a transfer position his night came to an early end.

Saturday night's finale fell victim to rain.
