ASCS Season Begins Saturday At Central Arizona Raceway
Bryan Hulbert – CASA GRANDE, Ariz. (February 6, 2023) Kicking off the first of 200 nights across the American Sprint Car Series, the first race of the 2023 season will be at Central Arizona Raceway with the ASCS Arizona Non-Wing Sprints taking on the high-banked, three-eighths-mile oval on Saturday, February 11 at 6:00 P.M. Making up 10 of those 200 races, each event will take place at the Arizona oval through November. The continuation of the CAS Non-Wing Sprint Cars, the series has seen 19 events since its inception, with R.J. Johnson taking the win in 16 of those events. Looking forward to this Saturday’s showdown, the ASCS Arizona Non-Wing Sprints will be joined by Senior Sprint Cars, Mini Late Models, Sport Mods, and NOW600 Outlaw and Restricted Micros.
Saturday, February 11, opens at 2:00 P.M. with racing at 6:00 P.M. (MT). Admission is $20 for adults, $18 for Senior and Military, $15 for Students (12-17), and free for Youth (11 and under).
