Bagley starts 2023 season at Wild West Shootout
Morgan Bagley traveled to Vado Speedway Park (Vado, N,M.) on Saturday afternoon to begin his 2023 campaign at the 17th annual Wild West Shootout.
With 48 cars in the pit area, Bagley timed in 12th quick in his group before finishing seventh in his heat. After winning his B-Main from sixth, Morgan earned a 17th place starting spot in the $10,000-to-win feature where he would eventually finish 21st.
Drawing 48 Late Models for the first race of six, Bagley timed in 12th-quick in his group before finishing seventh in his heat. With an impressive sixth-to-first run in his B-Main placing him on the eighth row for the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Bagley was an early retiree from the 40-lap affair on lap 16. He was scored 21st on the rundown.
For another $10,000-to-win show on Sunday, Bagley struggled in his heat race finishing 11th. Being buried on the seventh row of his B-Main, Morgan was a scratch from his consolation race.
