Entry for the 2023 for RacinDirt.com King of America XII presented by Shocker Hitch.com and Battle at the Bullring 8 is now open!!!

Modified and B-Mod drivers both can get registered either by the day, or for the entire three day event by going to https://www.myracepass.com/series/1129/registrations/6886.

Promoters John Allen, Humboldt Speedway, and Todd Staley have once again combined the King of America and Battle at the Bullring in 2023. The mega event is set to take place March 23-25 with an open practice session kicking off festivities on Wednesday March 22nd.

RacinDirt.com King of America XII presented by ShockerHitch.com will once again under the USMTS banner. The following is complete information for Battle at the Bullring 8.

While event managers John Allen and Todd Staley will have final word on any eligibility questions, the following is a guideline for driver eligibility during Battle at the Bullring 8.

Any driver who competed in a MINIMUM of 20 or more events in a B-Mod type division in 2022 IS ELIGIBLE to compete in Battle at the Bullring 8 regardless of any other division or race in which they may have competed.

Any driver who did not compete in at least 20 B-Mod events in 2022 and did compete in or accomplish any of the following are NOT eligible to compete in the Battle at the Bullring 8.

Top 10 in 2022 points standings with any of the following
World of Outlaws Late models
USMTS
Dirt Knights
USCS
MLRA Late Model Series
Lucas Oil Late Model Series
2022 Hell Tour

Drivers who qualified for the Modified or Late Model A-Main at any of the following:
IMCA Super Nationals
Duel in the Desert
Fall Jamboree
Silver Dollar Nationals
Harris Clash
Grant Junghans Memorial
Wissota 100
King of Dirt
UMP Fall Nationals

Drivers who won a Modified or Late Model track championship in 2022 are also not eligible. Other series and/or events may be added. All decisions by the event managers are final. Please ask before attending Battle at the Bullring 8.

Using each sanctions 2023 rules package (no mixing), the following rules packages are permitted:
Option 1 – USRA B-Mods (see https://usraracing.com/rules)
Option 2 – USRA Limited Mods (see https://usraracing.com/rules)
Option 3 – Wissota Midwest Mods (see https://www.wissota.org/rules)
Option 4 – IMCA Northern SportMods (see https://www.imca.com/rules)
Option 5 – IMCA Southern SportMods (see https://www.imca.com/rules)

Post-Race Technical Inspections – Tech officials will thoroughly test engines by any means necessary including, but not limited to, cubic inch tester, whistler for compression ratio, valve spring tester, scope, compression tester, etc. Humboldt Speedway officials reserve the right to disassemble any engine to any degree needed to verify legality of engine. Decisions by tech officials are final and binding. Technical inspections will be performed by Darlo Mulder and Leon Bash, along with their assistants.

GM 602 Crate Engine – If tech officials feel some or all components of the engine must be checked further by sending the components in question to a authorized GM rebuilder of Humboldt Speedways choice, winning and awards will be held until the engine is deemed legal.

Spec Engine – If needed, tech officials will contact sanctioning bodies to verify rules during inspection process.
