Fourth-place finish in Ty Veuleman Memorial at Sabine Speedway

Jon Mitchell entered his W&W Timber No. 5 Crate Late Model into battle at Sabine Speedway (Many, La.) on Friday afternoon for the Ty Veuleman Memorial.

With a pair of qualifying features on Friday kicking off the two-day event, Jon secured his spot into his prelim with a third-to-second run his heat. With $800 on the line, Mitchell gained one position to finish second.

Earning the fourth-starting position for Saturday night’s $5,069-to-win Ty Veuleman Memorial finale, Mitchell raced to a fourth-place finish in the 40-lapper. He followed Jimmy Owens, Cade Dillard, and Shane Hebert across the line with Rob Litton coming in fifth.
