Will Roland attends Lucas Oil debut at Talladega Short Track

Saturday saw Will Roland return to the driver’s seat of his Capital Race Cars No. 22 Late Model for the debut of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.). (Rick Neff photo)

Drawing 32 Late Models, Will dropped one spot in his heat race to finish seventh, relegating him into the B-Main for another shot at the $15,000-to-win A-Main. Needing to place sixth or better, Roland fell short with a 10th-place outing.
