Millwood competes at Tri-County and Smoky Mountain

Following the 15th-fastest lap in his time trial group, Millwood was collected in a tangle in his heat race that brought an early end to his night.
On Saturday, Tyler unloaded his Millwood Plumbing No. 31 Crate Late Model at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.) for the American All-Star Series-sanctioned Brick Mill Bash. In a stout field of 60 cars, Millwood outran Travis Steele in his heat race to pick up the win. Starting the $10,000-to-win A-Main in 10th, Tyler dropped five spots in the 50-lap affair to finish 15th.
