Martin fifth in Michael Head Jr. Memorial at Senoia

Drawing 41 Late Models, Martin’s seventh-place finish in his heat race relegated him into the B-Main for another shot at the $10,000-to-win A-Main. Needing to place third or better, Parker recorded a fifth-place outing.
On Saturday, Parker traveled to Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.) for the Michael Head Jr. Memorial. In a field of 30 XR Southern All Star Series entries, Martin timed in eighth-fastest in his group before placing fourth in his heat. Wheeling his way into the top-five in the feature, Parker passed 13 cars in the 54-lapper to register a fifth-place finish. He trailed Ashton Winger, Dalton Cook, Austin Horton, and Dylan Knowles to the checkers.
