Chase notches Top-10 finish in Grant Junghans Memorial at Lakeside

Drawing 31 cars for the third annual Wehrs Machine Bullring Bash, Junghans followed up the eighth-fastest time in his group with an eighth-place finish in his heat. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the A-Main, Chase logged a ninth-place outing.
On Friday evening at Lakeside Speedway (Kansas City, Kan.) for the Grant Junghans Memorial, Chase secured his spot into the $20,002-to-win main event with a runner-up finish in his consolation event after placing fourth in his heat. Starting in 15th, Junghans raced forward five spots in the 42-lap affair to register a 10th-place finish.
