Cade Dillard scores 11th-place finish in XR Superior Showcase opener

Drawing 40 XR Super Series entries, Dillard edged his way into the $20,000-to-win A-Main with a fourth-place finish in his heat. Inching forward two spots in the 40-lap affair, Cade cross the line in 11th.

On Saturday, Cade hopped behind the wheel of his USRA Modified at Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, La.) but ran into trouble in his heat race and B-Main. After charging from seventh to the front in his heat, Dillard suffered a flat tire. Rolling off 21st for the feature, Cade wheeled his way up to fourth but suffered a broken trailing arm, dropping him to 13th.
