(Warrensburg, Missouri) Saturday marks the second and final appearance of the Show-Me Vintage Series this season at Central Missouri Speedway (CMS) on Joslin’s Jewelry night at the races. B-Mods, POWRi Super Stocks, Pure Stocks, and POWRi Midwest Mods will join the vintage racers for a full night of preliminary heat races and main events in all divisions on the CMS high banks.

In 2001, a group of racers gathered and built cars from a simple set of rules and asked a few tracks to let them race and bring back memories of days gone by. This led to the forming of The Show Me Vintage Series, whose mission is to bring back Nostalgia via cars that are identifiable and to show people what their relatives once raced. Saturday’s Timeline: Pit gates opening at 4:30, grandstands at 5, pill draw cutoff for drivers 6:15 (no passing points awarded if late check-in), pit meeting 6:30, hot laps at 7, and racing at 7:30 or after hot laps. Admission Details: Adults $15, Active-Duty Military and Senior Citizens aged 65 to 74 $12, Kids 6 to 12 years old $6, five and under free, seniors 75 and older and individuals permanently confined to a wheelchair are free in the grandstands. All pit passes are $35 regardless of age.

Saturday, Sept 24 - End of Season Track Celebration Hog Roast, held in “The Grove” adjacent to Pub 13, Dinner at 6, Live Band 8-12, open to everyone, $10 per person, covers meal. Cash bar will be available.
