Mechanical Issues Slow Moos Roll at PDC

Myles Moos had high hopes for the 32nd annual Prairie Dirt Classic at Fairbury (Ill.) Speedway over the weekend, but luck would not be on his side on Friday night.

With a stellar field of 81 World of Outlaws (CASE) Late Model Series entries on hand for the program, Myles qualified 15th fastest in his group to earn the eighth-starting spot for one of the four Showdown features.

Early in the feature he was up to the fifth position before oil began to leak from his No. 84 Super Late Model causing him to jump the cushion and fold the nose under.

He headed pitside with the damage and the team made the decision to scratch from the remainder of the weekend's action.
