Sooner Late Model Series
Enid Speedway to host Sooner Late Models on Saturday
John Rittenoure - TULSA, Okla. (August 2, 2022) - The Complete Well Testing Sooner Late Model Series returns to Enid Speedway for the fifth time this season on Saturday.
It is Back to School Bash night at Enid Speedway and junior fans will receive a Back to School backpack to help them prepare for the upcoming school season that starts later this month.
CWT Sooner Late Models will headline the show that will also see Factory Stocks, Sport Mods and Hot Shots racing in regular season points competition.
Due to the extreme heat this summer racing will start on 8:30 p.m. Saturday. Pits open at 4 and grandstands at 5.
Hayden Ross of Muskogee continues to lead the Sooner Series points race with four victories but is still looking for his first victory this season at Enid Speedway. In the four races held so far on the Enid 3/8’s mile Dustin Allen of Enid has two wins while four-time Sooner champion Kip Hughes of Enid and Brett Hansen of Muskogee have one win each.

About Sooner Late Model Series
The Sooner Late Model Series was formed in 2016 by Enid Speedway co-promoter Mark Brill. Brill felt there was not many opportunities for late model competitors to race in Oklahoma and the Sooner Late Model Series was formed. Now the series has grown beyond the borders of Oklahoma with events held in the neighboring states of Kansas, Texas and Arkansas as well.
