Beets visits Tazewell Speedway for Ray Varner Ford 53
Eli Beets joined the Schaeffer’s Southern Nationals on Saturday afternoon at Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tenn.) for the series finale of the 12-race tour. (Michael Moats photo)
After topping the 26-car field in time trials with a blistering 11.374 lap, Beets cruised to heat race win. Earning the pole for the $10,053-to-win A-Main, Eli led laps 1-9 before getting taken out by another competitor late in the race while running third. He was credited 18th on the final rundown.
