In a field of 34 cars on Thursday at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.), Ford qualified for the A-Main in his consolation race after getting behind the eight-ball in time trials. With $4,053 on the line, Jensen gained five positions to finish 11th.
With Friday’s event at East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Ala.) falling to Mother Nature, Jensen headed to Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Ga.) on Saturday for the annual Rebel Yell. Scoring a second-place finish in his heat behind Zack Mitchell, Ford earned the fourth-starting position for the $10,053-to-win A-Main. He was an early retiree from the 53-lapper after getting in an early tangle.
Jensen is currently fourth in the latest Schaeffer’s Southern Nationals point standings.
