COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Ready for Arkansas Doubleheader

Saturday’s Action Includes Autism Awareness Night at the Races

CONWAY, Ark. (07/18/22) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil is set for an Arkansas doubleheader this weekend, July 22-23.

On Friday, July 22 the second annual Kenneth Mitchell Memorial posts a $5,555 top prize at Texarkana 67 Speedway (Texarkana, Ark.), while the $5,000-to-win Autism Night at the Races will be held at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Ark.) on Saturday, July 23.

“This is a big weekend for our series with two really good paying races,” CCSDS CEO Chris Sullivan said. “The staff at Texarkana 67 Speedway have made some amazing improvements to that facility since last year, and we look forward to showcasing it to our fans, racers, and marketing partners on Friday evening. Then you have a great race supporting a great cause on Saturday night at I-30 Speedway as the program featured Autism Night at the Races, and we have some special things planned there.”

With two series victories to his credit already this season, Mississippi’s Brian Rickman enters the weekend as the Midwest Sheet Metal Marked Man with a 70-point advantage atop the series standings over B.J. Robinson.

Morgan Bagley, Tyler Stevens, Kyle Beard, Mason Oberkramer, Hunter Rasdon, Scott Crigler, Brandon Carpenter, Logan Martin, Jon Kirby, and Dean Carpenter round out the current Top 12 in the series standings.

Tyler Stevens not only sits fourth in the overall series standings but continues to lead the way in the Midwest Sheet Metal Rookie of the Year battle over Brandon Carpenter.

Action kicks off with the second annual $5,555-to-win Kenneth Mitchell Memorial on Friday evening at Texarkana 67 Speedway. The race was a Crate Late Model event in 2021, and it was current Midwest Sheet Metal Rookie of the Year point leader, Tyler Stevens, who picked up the $5,555 triumph.
