Sixth-place finish in Freedom 60 at Muskingum County Speedway

With 30 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries in the pit area, Overton was credited with a 20th-place finish in the feature after retiring on lap 26.

For Friday’s Independence 50 at Portsmouth Raceway Park (Portsmouth, Ohio), Brandon was running in 12th in the feature when a late rain shower forced officials to cut the 50-lapper short with five circuits remaining.

On Saturday afternoon at Muskingum County Speedway (Zanesville, Ohio) for a pair of preliminary features leading up to Sunday’s Freedom 60, Overton posted a fifth-place finish in his prelim.

Starting Sunday's $30,000-to-win Freedom 60 in 14th, Brandon Overton advanced through the field eight positions in the 60-lap affair to register a sixth-place finish.
