Joiner Finishes 14th in WoO Action at Senoia

Joseph Joiner returned to Super Late Model action on Saturday night with a trip to Senoia (Ga.) Raceway, where he was competing with the World of Outlaws (WoO) Morton Buildings Late Model Series. Thirty-two competitors entered the event, and after getting behind in qualifying Joiner rallied to finish second in his heat race, which earned him a spot in the feature redraw.

Joseph received the eighth-starting spot in the redraw. He got shuffled back to the 12th position early in the feature and was back up eighth before cutting a tire. He would go on to be credited with a 14th-place finish.

“We hated to not be able to capitalize on our starting spot, but the good news is our new engine ran great,” Joiner said. “We feel like we have a good piece, and we’re looking forward to doing a lot more Super Late Model racing starting with next week’s Lucas Oil Series races.”
