Joseph Joiner Races in Peach State Classic

Joseph Joiner invaded Senoia (Ga.) Raceway over the weekend for the inaugural Peach State Classic. On Friday 63 entries were entered into the opening round of the weekend, and Joseph started the night with a third-place finish in his heat race, which locked him into the 13th-starting spot for the 25-lap feature. In the $10,000-to-win race he raced around mid-pack throughout the event before crossing the finish line in the 14th-starting spot.

On Saturday evening 55 drivers returned for the $50,052-to-win finale. Joseph locked into the 17th-starting spot for the feature after claiming the third-and-final transfer spot in the feature. In the 52-lap main event he would be unable to make up much ground at the 3/8-mile oval with a 15th-place finish.
