Thompson Takes to Belleville High Banks
Cody Thompson entered the opening round of the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) Belleville Dirt Nationals doubleheader over the weekend at the infield track at Belleville High Banks.
Thirty-three entries were on hand on Friday night, and Cody passed one car to finish seventh in his heat race, which relegated him to a B-Main, where his night ended early with a sixth-place finish.
Saturday night found Thompson sliding back to a seventh-place finish in his heat race after starting third. Unfortunately for the second-straight night his outing came to an early end with a seventh-place finish in his B-Main.
