JONESTOWN, Pa. (May 2, 2022) - Taming the highbanks of Bristol Motor Speedway is never an easy feat, but Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing did their very best to do so over the weekend, eventually capping their visit with a pair of impressive performances including a top-ten result to open the Bristol Bash doubleheader on Friday, April 29.

Zearfoss, ace of the Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, Berkebile Oil Company, X-1 Race Cars, No. 3Z sprint car, opened their weekend in Bristol, Tennessee, with a ninth-place outcome on Friday, maintaining their place within the top-ten after starting in the exact same position. Although the team went on to just miss the top-ten on Saturday, their performance was nearly as impressive, ultimately improving five spots to finish 12th in the rundown. The “Jonestown Jet” is now the owner of four World of Outlaws top-ten finishes this season and is currently tenth in the championship standings.

“That was a fun weekend. The size of that place is pretty humbling, and the speeds are remarkable. To have the opportunity to race at a venue like Bristol is pretty special and we’re already excited to go back next season,” Brock Zearfoss explained, a sophomore with the Greatest Show On Dirt. “We have a big weekend ahead at Eldora, then we get to race in our own backyard. I think I speak for everyone when I say we’re excited to get back and battle at Lincoln and The Grove.”

ON DECK:
Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their sophomore campaign with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series with a doubleheader at the World’s Greatest Dirt Track - Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, on Friday and Saturday, May 6-7. Dubbed #LetsRaceTwo weekend, the Greatest Show On Dirt will be joined by the USAC National Sprint Cars for a true open wheel experience.
