Blair Nothdurft fourth in Challenge Cup XVII at Dakota State Fair Speedway

Opening up his racing weekend on Thursday, Blair Nothdurft joined a 36-car field at Dakota State Fair Speedway (Huron, S.D.) for the first night with the Tri-State Late Model Series.

Fading in his heat race, Nothdurft transferred to the feature through his B-Main and started 21st. Storming forward in the quick 25-lap main event, Blair shot all the way into the Top-10 in seventh.

Following the series to Brown County Speedway (Aberdeen, S.D.) on Friday, Nothdurft earned a starting spot on the fifth-row before Mother Nature wiped out the main event.

Returning to the Dakota State Fair on Saturday afternoon, Blair was the high-point man after heat races which earned him the pole position for the $5,000-to-win main event. Quickly slipping into the runner-up spot, Nothdurft faded back two more spots when the checkered flag flew.
