Nothdurft scores Top-10 finish in MLRA stop at Deer Creek

Friday night found Blair Nothdurft in action at Mississippi Thunder Speedway (Fountain City, Wis.) for the Lucas Oil Midwest LateModel Racing Association (MLRA) sanctioned contest. With 28 cars entered for the River City Rumble, Blair followed up a fifth-place finish in his heat with a fifth-place finish in his B-Main. Starting the $10,000-to-win A-Main in 21st, Nothdurft gained seven spots in the 50-lapper to finish 14th.

The following night at Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minn.), Nothdurft charged from his eighth-starting position in his heat race to pick up the win. With $5,000 on the line in the feature, Blair faded six spots in the 40-lap affair to record a seventh-place finish.
