Rough track sidelines RTJ at Circle City

Friday night found SSI Motorsports pilot Ricky Thornton Jr. in action at Circle City Raceway (Indianapolis, Ind.) as the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series made its debut at the brand new quarter-mile oval. After rough track conditions bounced him back to seventh in his heat race, Thornton Jr. elected to save his equipment and scratched from his eight-lap consolation event. (Rich LaBrier photo)
