Runner-up finish in Modified at Cocopah

Ricky Thornton Jr. entered his No. 20RT Modified into battle on Saturday night at Cocopah Speedway (Somerton, Ariz.) for the Halloween Spectacular. After starting the night off with a heat race victory, Thornton Jr. crossed the line in first in the feature but was docked a position for excessive skirting. He was credited with a second-place finish.
