Dillon McCowan kicks World of Outlaws chase at Volusia Speedway Park

Dillon McCowan unloaded his No. 8 Wells Infinity Chassic at Volusia Speedway Park (De Leon Springs, Fla.) on Friday afternoon after Thursday's season opener for the World of Outlaw Late Models was washed out.

With over 50 Late Models on site, McCowan raced his way into Friday's $12,000-to-win feature and recorded a 23rd-place outing. On Saturday night, Dillon missed out on the $20,000-to-win finale after barely missing a transfer spot in his last chance showdown.
