Top-5 finish for Jim Bernheisel at Bedford Speedway

Jim Bernheisel traveled to Bedford Speedway (Bedford, Pa.) on Friday afternoon to return behind the wheel of his Dieffenbach’s Kettle Chips No. 171 Late Model. With a heat race victory placing him sixth on the starting grid for the opeing night feature, Jim gained two spots in the 25-lapper to register a fourth-place finish. He trailed Jeff Rine, Matt Sponaugle, and Andy Haus across the line with Nathan LaSalle coming in fifth.

On Saturday afternoon at Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, Pa.), Bernheisel secured his spot into the $3,000-to-win A-Main with a third-place finish in his heat. Losing one spot in the 25-lap affair, Jim recorded a seventh-place outing.
