Jim notches seventh-place finish in Fourth of July special at Bedford

Taking part in the Fourth of July weekend doubleheader, Jim Bernheisel visited Bedford Speedway (Bedford, Pa.) on Friday evening for the Milt Miller Memorial. In a field of 16 Late Models, Bernheisel followed up the second fastest time in his group with a heat race victory. Receiving the fifth-starting position for the $3,000-to-win A-Main, Bryan faded two spots in the 30-lapper to place seventh.

On Saturday night at Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, Pa.), Jim topped the speed charts in his group before Mother Nature made an appearance and rained out the remainder of the event.
