Cosner attends the Last Call at the Dirt Track at Charlotte

After Covid-19 restrictions postponed the Can-Am World Finals to 2021, Matt Cosner invaded the Dirt Track at Charlotte (Concord, N.C.) on Wednesday afternoon for the Last Call. In a stout field of 55 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries, Cosner recorded a fifth place finish in his heat race, transferring him into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature. Locking in the Top 2, Matt came one spot short with a third place outing.

The following night for another $12,000-to-win A-Main, Matt logged a sixth place finish in his heat race, sending him into the B-Main. Needing a second place outing or better to make the show, Cosner fell short with a fourth place finish. (Zach Yost photo)
