Bell, L. McDonald, M. Mulholland, N. Audette Claim Dinner Jacket Championships

The 2025 Dinner Jacket Classic Series hosted Winnipeg Super Trucks once again with the always exciting Riverview Industries WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds, Q104 Limited Stocks, and HD Contracting Enterprises 4-Cylinders.

Day #1

A total of eight Super trucks attended the first day of the weekend with Nick Audette winning the heat race. In the feature, Hayden Audette took advantage of his front row starting position and held off a last corner effort by Nick Audette, to win his first feature at Lake of the Woods Speedway.

In the Riverview Industries WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds, Paul Veert was able to take the win away from Edward Bell in heat one, while Brandon Rehill went from fourth to first on the final lap of heat number two with a run on the high side of the track. In the feature, it was all Brandon Rehill as he started from the poll running the high line to his second feature win of the year. Bell would claim second spot, and Stan Dueck would take third.

In the Limited Stocks, there was action throughout the heats and features. Logan McDonald would hold off a charging Aiden McKuski and Lucas Elias would finish third in heat one. In the second heat, Morgan McDonald and Michael Copp fought for the lead position for the majority of heat two. Morgan would eventually claim the checkered flag. In the feature, Bryson McDonald was able to take advantage of several battles on the track and sailed around a line of moisture on the high side to battle with Michael Copp for the majority of the race. Eventually, Bryson was able to maintain the top spot and win the race after having started in the tenth position.

The HD Contracting 4-Cylinders also had their share of excitement. In heat one, Jeremy Wall was able to fend off Kamea Mulholland for the win. In heat two, Madoc Mulholland kept Alexander Farr at bay to win. The feature was full of thrills and spills. Madoc and Kamea raced side by side as they moved to the front. During the early part of the race, first time attendee, Jason Fehr hit the wall hard coming out of turn four launching the car up and over on its side. The driver was okay and the race continued with Madoc finally making a move on the outside to claim the feature win!

Day #2

Six Winnipeg Super Trucks were in attendance on the second day with local driver Keelan Hall running double duty. Nick Audette would quickly move from third to the lead in the heat race, but Hall had come from sixth to second to get behind the leader. Unfortunately, Hall ran out of laps and Nick was able to take the win. The feature placed Nick in the fourth position but would weave in and out of traffic to take the lead once again. Yesterday’s winner, Hayden Audette, started in sixth but wasn’t able to gain space. Hall moved from third to second but couldn’t reel in Nick Audette for a second time.

The Riverview Industries WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds, both Nick Audette and Keelan Hall would claim heat wins. With the luck of the redraw, Hall started on the pole in the feature and ran away from the field to claim the win. Bell would finish second again and Jesse Mckuski rounded out the top three.

Q104 Limited Stocks continued their competitive racing as Michael Copp and Jesse Pederson would take their respective heat wins. The feature had their share of bumps which led to Bryson McDonald having to retire early. However, the race started to gain consistency as Logan McDonald and Jesse Pederson put on another great battle at the front. Aiden McKuski also was in the mix, briefly taking second place over Logan with a handful of laps left. This allowed Pederson to gain some space. Logan would retake second but didn’t have quite enough at the checkered flag. Pederson would take the win with L. McDonald and Mckuski in second and third.

The HD Contracting Enterprises 4-Cylinders once again had close racing as Madoc Mulholland, Kamea Mulholland, Alexander Farr, Jeremy Wall and Dustin Alcock were all around each other lap by lap. Eventually, it would be a battle of the siblings with Farr waiting for them to make a mistake. Madoc tried high, then low, then high again and eventually gained enough space with a lap or so to go and claim his second feature win in a row and take-home back to back Dinner Jackets!
