Double Duty in Mod and Midwest Mod at AMSOIL Speedway

Michael brought both his Modified and Midwest Modified to the Great Lakes Border Battle at the AMSOIL Speedway in Superior, WI this past weekend and saw success in both classes. In the Midwest Modifieds on Saturday night, Michael won his heat from 4th and then started on the pole for the main event and had a great 4 to 5 car battle up front the entire 25-lap distance, eventually coming home in 5th. On Sunday in the Midwest Modifieds, Michael ran 2nd in his heat from 4th and then raced from his 11th starting spot in the main event to a 9th place finish. In the Modified division, Mike raced to 4th and 5th place finishes in his two rounds of heat races on Saturday night and then came home 3rd in a b-main on Sunday night to transfer to the $10,000 to win main event. Team LLR then raced from 19th to 13th before the 60-lapper was done.
