SEIDLER SLAYS THE COMPETITION FOR QUALIFYING FEATURE WIN
In the second IMCA Modified qualifying feature, Marlyn Seidler and Travis Tooley led the field to the green flag. When the green flag waved, Seidler pulled away from the field. Austin Arneson challenged Tooley for second place. On lap 10, Arneson passed Tooley which left Tooley in the clutches of fourth place Shawn Strand. Not even lapped traffic could slow Marlyn Seidler down as he led all 25 laps to win the qualifying feature. Austin Arneson finished a distant second. Travis Tooley held off Shawn Strand for third as Brandon Beckendorf crossed the finish line fifth. The victory meant Seidler would start on the outside pole for the Iron Man 100.
