TJR fourth in season opener at Springfield Raceway

Tony Jackson Jr. unveiled a fresh new look on his Willard Quarries No. 56 Late Model on Sunday afternoon for season opener at Springfield Raceway (Springfield, Mo.).

With 27 Late Models entered for the rescheduled Turkey Bowl, Tony’s sixth-to-second run in his heat race positioned him on the second row for the $10,075-to-win A-Main. Losing one spot in the 40-lap affair, Jackson Jr. posted a fourth-place finish. He chased Bobby Pierce, Logan Martin, and Dillon McCowan to the checkers with Payton Looney coming in fifth.
