13th-place finish in Prairie Dirt Classic at FALS

Friday night saw Chase Junghans return to action at Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.) for the 31st annual Prairie Dirt Classic weekend. With the massive field of 74 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries split into two separate groups for time trials, Junghan’s sixth fastest qualifying effort locked him into the third-starting position for the $3,000-to-win preliminary feature. Starting the $50,000-to-win 31st annual Prairie Dirt Classic in 12th, Chase lost one spot in the 100-lap affair to finish 13th.
